Kosovar Albanian Youth Against Violence (KAYAV) is a community-driven organisation based in London that provides essential support to Kosovar Albanian refugees, asylum seekers, and their families. We aim to foster integration through education, cultural engagement, and mental health awareness, helping young people and families build a positive future in their new community.
KAYAV was born out of a "Stop All Violence" campaign following the Trafalgar Square riots involving young Albanians in 2011. Initially led by Albanian-speaking parents, the campaign has since evolved into a comprehensive program for Kosovar Albanian youth and their families. Reactivated in 2018, KAYAV continues to champion integration, cultural preservation, and community advocacy.
Our vision is a united community where young people and families can thrive, empowered by education, culture, and mutual support.
Our mission is to support Kosovar Albanian families and young people in their journey toward integration in the UK. As a non-partisan organization, KAYAV is dedicated to serving the Kosovar Albanian community without political bias. We do not support or align with any political party, ensuring that our focus remains solely on community integration, empowerment, and support.
Since 2011, KAYAV has:
Become a part of our youth volunteer team or help out with community events
Support our programs through financial contributions
